Igor and his team (Vitaly and Jose frequently named) handle jobs from minor drain clogs to major pipe replacements with consistent professionalism and care. Customers consistently report same-day response, detailed written quotes, transparent discussions of budget options, and clean job sites after completion.
Work spans drain cleaning, water line replacement, sump pump installation, and waterproofing. Igor is repeatedly praised for explaining technical plumbing clearly, respecting properties during work, and following through with preventive advice. Long-term clients return repeatedly; several commercial clients rely on the company for multiple properties.
Alex and his team deliver speed and clarity. Customers repeatedly see same-day service, camera inspections that identify hidden issues, and honest pricing quoted upfront. Follow-up calls after work are standard, and the crew explains every step as they go, which reviewers consistently note.
Both reviewers praise Toronto Plumbing Group for honesty, speed, and thoroughness. One customer appreciated the transparent options for a leaky basement; another called out Igor's camera inspection and the crew's 12-hour drain job that left the house spotless, noting they felt valued as family.
Rooter-Man earns high marks for speed and technical skill on straightforward jobs: technicians show up fast, explain work clearly, and some (Jerome, Michael D., Michael De Torres) build trust through honest pricing and professionalism. However, a pattern of serious complaints emerges around diagnosis accuracy, billing transparency, and handling of disputes. Multiple customers report being charged $500+ for incomplete work, misidentified sewer line locations, or services not actually performed. When challenged, staff have become confrontational or unresponsive, with the office failing to investigate concerns or honor guarantees. Service quality depends heavily on which technician arrives and the job's complexity. Drain clearing and routine repairs work well; sewer line assessments and upselling (foundation work, sump pump maintenance) have generated mistrust and expensive second opinions. The company's own response rate to billing disputes is the biggest red flag.
